What is Thai curry

Thai curry is one of the most used staple ingredient in Thai cuisine. Usually sweeter than Indian Curry, Thai curry incorporates local ingredients such as chili peppers, kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass and galangal to bring much more Thai flavour to the traditional curry taste. 3 main types of Thai curries: Yellow Curry - Mildly spicy. Made from yellow chillies and turmeric. Red Curry - Medium spicy. Made from red chillies and tomato paste. Green Curry - Very spicy. What is Udon Noodle?

Japanese Udon(うどん) is a wheat based noodle with white thick noodle that has both soft and chewy texture. Udon was most likely introduced to Japan from China during Tang dynasty (618-907 CE) and has become a staple of Japanese cuisine along with the other Japanese noodles, Somen, Soba and Ramen. Udon is served in many ways, either hot or cold, served with soup or stir-fried. Some of the most popular udon dishes are: Kitsune Udon - Most popular udon served in hot soup with deep fried tofu pouch. Weekend Treats

Best season of the year is upon us and we are planning some great weekend treats. Starting from this week, every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we will be offering special weekend treats.  These treats will be different from week to week, but will mainly be simple side dish type of foods. Simple and ready to be eaten dishes that are simple to take away on the road will be a great treat for the whole family enjoying the summer, asian style! One year report

On the first Saturday of February, 2018, we quietly opened our door to the public on Stargarderstraße 29.  It was a bright sunny but chilly day. Heejoo and I were so nervous if anyone would ever show up to our store but we were delighted that several customers visited our store and much more to our surprise made purchase of our products. From then on it has been one year and everyday we are still having the same experience.  We are taking an unknown journey with only the trust we have that in the end everything will all turn out to be just fine. Beware the ides of March [First published 06.04.2018]

Month of March in Berlin was cold and wet. 3 out of 4 weeks was very miserable and the streets of Stargarder were not as lively as usual. It felt like most of the people on the streets were busy heading home instead of strolling the streets... Our second month of operation has passed and it was a mixed month. Although we had a slight increase in all our numbers we are not yet self sufficient. The BamGam number is also up from February. In March we were able to collect enough donation for 106 meals for a child compared to 88 meals donated in February. That’s over 20 percent increase! Hopefully we can hold this trend. April fools day...
